Sci-fi Fairytaleby ~Guardian-of-Light

My entry for nJoo's Rock-Off #2: Steampunk Fairytale.

My chosen fairytale: The Three Little Pigs

Well I took lots of liberties with the story but the main concept is all here.

On the painting you can see the main house and 2 side houses that are used as shell in case of danger. When that happens, the main house's first floor descends and the two shells close to form an impenetrable barricade.

That ball thing you see is the Pig battlesphere, it comes out of one of the shells.

All the 3 pigs are there, but one is scared and stayed in the house (you can see him in the window if you look closely).

The most hardworking one, also the most fearless, is going straight to the wolf for an epic battle

The other one is of course controlling the battlesphere.

Oh and I thought it'd be fun to include a statue holding the house.

This took me like 60hrs, I'm dead and I want sleep now. My biggest work so far...

I just really wanted this to be badass, I hope I achieved that...

EDIT: I have noticed that I got very carried away by how I wanted the picture to be, instead of sticking to the elements that are key to the steampunk genre so it turned out be be mostly scifi, a bit with a twist. However I am do not regret anything, I learnt a lot from it!

interesting concept,the water need more details! good lightening ,the nature need a little more sharpness infront . you put all the reflections in the water besides the one of the flying thing/looks like flying piggy to me

Thanks a lot for the feedback! I agree I still need to put on some details... actually the flying piggy's (or battlesphere) reflection is near the wolf but the latter is covering part of it.
